In todays society, the issue of same-sex marriage has become a pawn in the game of politics. So much, the continued debates uprising on rather same-sex couples should be given the right to marry or not, has escalated into public marches along city streets all around North America. But why is this happening? Doesn't the  U.S. Constitution give same-sex couples the right to marriage as it does heterosexual couples?
 
As mentioned in the previous lesson, the United States Constitution gives all citizens of the U.S. of A. the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. In fact,  Congress shall make no law depriving anyone of their right to peaceably assemble. Therefore, same-sex couples have a right to join together in holy matrimony, because it is actually peaceably assembling( two or more people joined together).
 
In fact, the IX Amendment states: "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people." And, Amendment XIV states: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
 
However, despite these Amendments, same-sex couples are being prohibited from joining together in holy matrimony, based  solely on a majority vote against it. Many believe this issue continues getting the run-around because religious supporters argue the Bible prohibits such nonsense.
 
Contrary to the United States Constitution, many religious organizations are flabbergast with the idea of two men or two women being given the right to marry. But doesn't this deprive U.S. citizens their right to life and the pursuit of happiness?
 
Since 625 A.D., the Bible has undergone tremendous changes.  So much, scriptural changing has become a norm, and continues to be welcomed and condoned by many religious followers. In fact, the Bible is revised by many different Bible Committee's, such as the International Bible Society. Diligently, these committee's congegate and decide what should be written in the text and what shouldn't.
 
In the meantime, our communities are undergoing a tremendous amount of pressure trying to maintain peace between same-sex couples and those who oppose such behavior and or, life style; simply because, a great majority of people have become drunkened by the deception of unholy men.
 
First off, even if we assume these committee's are joined together to rewrite the scriptures in order for today's society to comprehend the material much easier, there still seems to be a great deal of confusion surrounding the issue of homosexuality within biblical text.
 
Coincidentally, the issue of homosexuality is quite interesting. So much, people have often been told that same-sex couples were an abomination. Yet, it seems people have been misled on what the term "abomination" means. Many people assumes it's a sin, but according to the dictionary, it's not. It actually means something disgusting. But so is eating pork to Muslims, and males having sex with a woman; at least according to the scriptures. In fact, reading the opening scripture helped you discover that. But what does this scripture in Revelation instruct?
 
"These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins."-    Revelation 14:4, the Holy Bible, KJV
 
Ironically, today, many people still like to refer to the story of Sodom and Gomorrah when arguing their opinion about homosexuality. But if you read the story, you find out that it wasn't their homosexual behavior that made God destroy the city, but the city was destroyed because there wasn't one person in the entire city that was righteous, or even believed in God. Read it yourself:
 
"And the Lord said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous(causing distress: suffering of body or mind), I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know."-  Genesis 18: 20& 21, the Holy Bible, KJV
 
"And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?"-  Genesis 18: 24, the Holy Bible, KJV
 
"And the Lord said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the places for their sakes."-  Genesis 18:26, the Holy Bible,  KJV
 
God said he would spare the whole city if there were fifty people who were righteous. Reading further:
 
"And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Preadventure there shall be twenty found. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty's sake."-  Genesis 18: 31, the Holy Bible, KJV
 
As the story unfolds, you learn that the angels God sent to canvass the city, arrived; and were bombarded by men who sought after them, lustfully. Once the angels  discovered there wasn't anyone in the city righteous, they destroyed the city accept Lot and his family. Yet many people believe it was because of the cities high level of homosexuality that caused the city to be destroyed. But after reading this, you come to understand that wasn't the case. There weren't enough righteous people living in the city...not even ten.
 
Another great analogy on the issue is taken from Romans.
 
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so they are without excuse: because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations,and their foolish hearts were darkened...'
 
'Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the uncorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man(Jesus), and to birds, and four-footed beast, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lust of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: who changed the truth of God into a lie(revising the scriptures), and worshipped and served the creature(Jesus) more than the Creator(God), who is blessed for ever. Amen."-  Romans 1:18-25, the Holy Bible,  KJV
 
"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of women, burned in their lust one towards another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their Knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; being filled with all unrighteousness...'
 
'...fornication(consensual sex between two unmarried people), wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiting, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: who, knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."-   Romans 1:27-32, the Holy Bible,  KJV
 
Reading all of this, it seems- God included everybody as being unrighteous...not just homosexuals. In fact, if you read further you learn:
 
"Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things."-  Romans 2: 1, the Holy Bible, KJV
 
"Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin."-  Romans 3: 20, the Holy Bible,  KJV
 
"Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law."-   Romans 3: 28, the Holy Bible,  KJV
 
So, if no man in the flesh can be justified because the law gives the knowledge of sin, no one in the flesh can please God. Therefore, this should prove why Jesus was sent to sign the new covenant into action.
 
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: whom God hath sent forth to be a propitiation (to regain the favor...appease) through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission(gain relief from) sins of the past, through the forbearance of God..."-   Romans 3: 23-25, the Holy Bible,  KJV
 
Reading this, should make one curious about the Holy Quran and what it teaches about homosexuality, since countless Muslims have been attacked and killed for being homosexual. In fact, some people like to recite from this doctrine when debating( which is among those listed in Romans one)- the issue of homosexuality. However, Allah dealt with the issue much differently.
 
"Of all creatures in the world, will ye approach males, and leave those whom Allah had created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)! They said, "If thou desist(cease to proceed) not O Lot! thou wilt assuredly be cast out! He said, "I do detest your doings." "O my Lord! deliver me and my family from such things as they do!"-   Surah26: 165-169, Al Shuara, Holy Quran
 
"Would ye really approach men in your lust rather than women? Nay, ye are a people (grossly) ignorant!"-  Surah 27: 55, Al Naml, Holy Quran
 
Before continuing, please review this reference found below:
 
" The ignorance refferred to here is the spiritual ignorance, the ignorance of how grossness and sins that bring shame on their own physical and moral nature which is do to destroy them: it is their own loss. That they knew the iniquity of their sins had already been stated in the last verse. That knowledge makes their spiritual ignorance all the more culpable(deserving blame), just as a man consciously deceiving people by half-truths is a greater liar than a man who tells lies inadvertently."
 
*Please note: The above scripture was referring to the story of Sodom and Gomorrha in the Holy Quran. Now let's examine another scripture:
 
"If any men among you divorce their wives by Zihar (calling them mothers), they cannot be their mothers: none can be their mothers except those who gave them birth. And in fact they use words (both) iniquitous and false: but truly Allah is One that blots out (Sins), and forgives (Again and Again)."-    Surah 58: 2, Al Mujadilah, Holy Quran
 
Allah forgives and forgives;despite  what we think and believe. So, according to this passage- homosexuals are also forgiven. Yet today, much of our society likes to cite scripture as a means of depriving and or,  interfering in the personal lives of those who indulge in same-sex love.  Surely, if one judgest another, he too, will be judged the same, as the previous scripture stated. However, people believe it's their duty to argue against same-sex couple's right to wed. Why?
 
Either these people are lonely, closeted, or just plain miserable, and feel they need to waste their precious time trying to keep others from attaining a level of happiness that is extended rightfully- through birth-by God Almighty. Voluntarily, many people take the initiative to vote on such issues as a means to prevent another person from being happy; that is an abomination... totally disgusting.
 
 
If two consenting adults want to wed, who are we to prevent them from doing so? We are not God. Man continues to have a need to play the role of God, but looking at the outcome...it seems we are "all" in the same boat. And honestly speaking, it seems we are "all" losing this battle because we refuse to acknowledge the Godhead power that embodies each and everyone of us.
 
In fact, when you look at your neighbor, you see God. When you look at a child, you see God. When you Iook at your mother or father, you see God. The scripture tells you, God made everything there is and everything God made is perfect. That does not exclude homosexuals.
 
"I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin."-   Romans 7: 25, the Holy Bible,  KJV
 
"Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God."-   Romans 8: 7&8, the Holy Bible,  KJV

Interestingly, in a recent civil suit filed against one of the nations leading Bible publishing companies: Zondervan Publishing, L.L.C., who by the way, was named as the defendant. Zondervan filed a Motion for Dismissal in response. In their motion, Zondervan's attorney stated: "We accept all of  Plaintiff's allegations as truth for the purpose of this motion, yet feel the statue of limitations has exceeded in this case, and therefore, this case should be dismissed."
 
First of all, the original suit was filed regarding a complaint about the term "homosexual" being added to the many Bible's they have published erroneously. Seemingly, the plaintiff in this suit claimed he was mentally affected by the use of the term homosexual within the Bible. Albeit the judge dismissed the case, the reason for dismissing it was because the plaintiff didn't file the case before the statue of limitations had run out.
 
Albeit, the publisher admitted they did implement the term homosexual within its Bible falsly, this was a blatant admission of guilt. But since the compliant was filed years after the publisher had published that particular Bible, the courts ruled in their favor. Still, the fact remains, the publisher  willingly admitted to providing a false statement about homosexuals to the public. So what does that tell you?
 
Surely, any Bible reader knows:
 
"But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven?( that is, to bring Christ  down from above:) or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)"-    Romans 10: 6&7, the Holy Bible,  KJV
 
Nevertheless, for centuries, homosexuals'  have taken their toll of rejection in stride- despite a society that breds itself on religious ethics and morals, yet fail to live up to the very message they preach and attempt to force feed others. With the continued backlash of ministers who are being caught off guard in their lifestyles of lasciviousness, greed, and lies; isn't it time religious followers learn the truth about their belief concerning homosexuality and their choices of religious doctrine? Isn't it time religious leaders answer for their continued misuse and misleading of their  church congregations for so long?
 
In a society that thrives to induce women with genetically altering remedies that help produce children, cease the natural curse of monthly menstrual through the development of designer drugs , and promote the practice of cosmetic surgery for the purpose of vanity, aren't we pushing the button on the  issue of same-sex marriage a little too much?
 
It seems as though, people are afraid of finally discovering  their opinions of same-sex people is merely a sign of their own insecurities  about their sexuality. And in some cases, many of those who oppose same-sex marriage, just may be hiding behind their own closed doors of same-sex desires. Perhaps, this is the age where mankind can actually be set free from ancient lies- handed down to control the masses. After all, reading what has been shared so far, you discover there is a great deal  more wisdom within the pages of the Bible -you just haven't taken note of.
 
And looking at the statistic of women who cannot bare children naturally, or the number of impotent men, you also discover- not every one was born to procreate. And yes, this was God's design, not man's. Therefore, when anyone takes a stand against the love two people share, regardless if its two men or two women, they are actually denying people the right to love- as granted to all people- by God. Doing so, deprives society of the opportunity to grow beyond its ignorant way of thinking...doesn't it?
 
In places like:Boston, Vermont, Iowa, Maine, Connecticut, and New Hampshire, those citizens have stepped beyond traditional thinking and have become thriving cities of diverse, culturally inclined communities, who embrace same-sex couples. So much, same-sex couples are marrying freely in those cities and states. So when will the remaining States bury their hate in the sand and realize, we can no longer fight a war on other people's rights. When in doing so, we're merely preventing our own rights. 
 
Considering the rate our ecomony of going, it seems, God isn't too concerned about same-sex marriage, because those states that have not allowed same-sex marriage, seem to be the States suffering the most. And ironically, the states that are refusing same-sex couples the right to marraige, are the very states rallying biblical scriptures and forever shouting, "Follow the word of God."
 
"For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe."-   I Corinthians 1: 21 , the Holy Bible, KJV
 
The scripture instructs: The foolishness of preaching to save them that believe... this comes right out of the Bible. Perhaps, that is why Jesus says,
 
"He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filty, let him be filty still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according to his work shall be."-   Revelation 22: 11& 12, the Holy Bible,  KJV
 
"I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches, I am the root and offspring of David, and the bright and morning star."-   Revelation 22: 16, the Holy Bible,  KJV
 
Until Jesus returns, or his angel arrives, man shall remain as he is, so the scripture says. So why, do we, as if Jesus has come for all to see, force our vain  and egostical ways of thinking upon the lives of others; when we have no true understanding of spiritual things?
 
"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."-   I Corinthians 2: 14, the Holy Bible, KJV
 
Its time to wake up America...God is Almighty, not our political party's, and definitely, not our church leaders- who,  for many years have studied the scriptures, passed their judgments unto the world, and through fear, forced many to give their hard earned money, proclaiming, "God said it was so". Because the scripture below says different:
 
"But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money."-     Acts 8: 20, the Holy Bible, KJV
