“While he was standing in prayer in the chamber, the angels called unto him: “Allah
doth give thee Glad tidings of Yahya, witnessing the truth of a word from Allah, and (be besides) noble, chaste, and a prophet-of
the (goodly) company of the righteous.”- Surah 3:Al ‘Imran, pp.137;section 39, the Holy Qur’an 1
Reading the above scripture, I am reminded
of how I begun this journey towards my awakening. If you have ever read anything
else written by me with this opening, I must confess, every time I write something regarding biblical understanding it reminds
me of the beginning of my journey. I do not want to ever forget how blessed I am to have such visionary. This is why I selected the above scripture from the Holy Qur’an. So often believers are at odds with
one another over religious doctrine, yet in many instances, they overlook the simplicity there is in it all. One is no better
than the other.
Take for instance, the above scripture
includes: “…the angels called unto him.” I find that invigorating. Reason being, throughout the entire Holy
Bible are many scriptures that inspire the believer to be aware of the voice of the angels. Take for instance this scripture
“Behold, I
send an angel before thee, to keep thee in the way,
and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not
pardon your transgressions; for my name is in him. But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that he speak; then
I will be an enemy unto thine enemy, and an adversary unto thine adversaries. For mine angel shall go before thee, and bring
thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hitties, and the Per’izzites, an dthe Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jeb’usites;
and I will cast them off.”- Exodus 23:
20-23, the Holy Bible. KJV 2
Or this one found in Revelation- “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto these things
in the churches. I am the root and off spring of David, and the bright and morning star.”- Revelation 22:16, the Holy Bible, KJV 3
On the contrary, it seems much of what
has been taught throughout history regarding angels, was that such spiritual existence was only found in heaven. Yet throughout
the entire Holy Qur’an and the Holy Bible, the angels play a significant role in our every day life. In fact, it was
the angel Gabriel who whispered in Mary’s ear that she would conceive a child. And it was the angel Gabriel who whispered
in Mohammad’s ear to compose the Holy Qur’an. The scripture reads: “Say: whosoever is an enemy to Gabriel- for he brings down the revelation to thy heart By Allah’s will, a confirmation of what went before. And guidance
and glad tidings for those who believe- whoever is an enemy to Allah and his angels and prophets, to Gabriel and Michael-
Lo! Allah is an enemy to those who reject faith.”- Surah 2: Al Baqarah, Section 12.97 & 98, of the Holy Qur’an, pp.43 & 44 4 “And the angel answering said unto him,
I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to show thee these glad tidings.”-
St Luke 1:19, the Holy Bible,
KJV 5 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent
from God unto a city of Galiee, named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David;

This is why nowadays, I believe it
is extremely imperative that all believers have clarity on the scriptures when talking about the scriptures and or, studying
the scriptures, because doing so gives them a leverage of wisdom that elevates their thinking, and empowers them to avoid
the wiles of the devil written about in Ephesians 6:11- of the Holy Bible, KJV. When you have clarity, you
have the power to walk by faith and not by sight. “But
without faith it is impossible to please him: for
he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”- Hebrew 11:6, the Holy Bible, KJV 7 This is why it has often been taught that in order
to achieve anything in life- you must have faith in God. But for some people, faith is unfathomable. In fact, countless people
admit to not seeing any purpose in believing in something or someone that allows so much evil and mayhem to affect the lives
of those who struggle to live a righteously, with so much destruction and unhappiness. So instead, many elect to journey through
life allowing evil to reign, by incorporating evil in their every day why of thinking and being.
Honestly speaking, at one time, I too
walked that journey. In fact, I enveloped an evil way of being because it was the way of my environment and those I associated
with. Their way of being became mine, because I no longer trusted wholeheartedly in the power of faith. And as it was written
aforetime, those who are not securely walking in the rhythm of faith, will not have their humanly body and mind secure in
truth. And when you lack the truth, you stunt your ability to have faith, because you are walking in utter darkness. But the
voice of the angel was sent so that you may find your way out of darkness and back into the realm of spiritual awareness.
An awareness that transcends all boundaries, allowing you the ability to rise above your hour of temptation, so that you will
achieve all that you set out to do.
So how does one attain such faith if
they do not have a clue? The answer is simple because God made every thing simple for us. It is our lack of trust and belief
in God that separates us from the gifts we were born with, because we have disconnected ourselves from the level of spiritual
awareness- God intends for us to have. But it is not your fought that you have been deceived. That is why God forgives us
so easily. The scripture tells you that Christ died on the cross for your sins so that you would not be condemned by such.
Yet, many times, people allow their negative actions and deeds to hinder their ability to move ahead in their journey through
life. In fact, many simply refuse to accept the truth, that no matter what you do, God forgives you. It’s the voice
of the angel that tempts you with evil because you do not believe or have faith in God.
The sole purpose of the New Testament
prophecies was to free all humankind from self condemnation. So often throughout this journey called life, each of us will
make wrong choices, and although the consequences are fatal and often long lasting, it’s up to you to release your conscience
thinking from the negativity you endured during those negative experiences. Take for instance, I recently had a car accident
and completely damaged the front end of the vehicle. Now I could have allowed the accident to disrupt my entire day or even
my entire week, but the voice of the angel has given me enough empowerment to allow such tragedies to become actions and thoughts
of the past. That’s why it’s important that you live your life to the fullest each and everyday, as if it were
the last. Not in a state of being that causes you to be conformed without happiness. But a state of being that uplifts your
every waked second. But it is only by faith that you will be able to do this.
The angels know this, that’s why they tempt you with evil.
But it is only through faith that you
are able to prevail over everyday tragedies. By hoping for the best and putting the thoughts into action, and demonstrating
that which you seek to achieve, will you excel. It is that simple. Always remember this; if you set out to achieve a goal-
it is up to you to achieve it. Many have asked this million dollar question, “How can I achieve my goal when there always
seems to be some obstacle in the way trying to keep me from doing what I seek to achieve.” The answer is simple: you
are the navigator of your destiny because you walk in flesh. God being in Spirit gives each of us the power to elect what
path we will take. That is why it is your journey; everyone has their own. We each can elect to make decisions based on our
train of thought, or we can allow the Spirit of God and the voice of the angel to be our guidance.
When we allow the train of thought
to dictate our actions, and are not secure in faith, we often will make the wrong choices. Lacking truth and clarity in knowing
and understanding the powers you possess, is what keeps you in the cycle of diminished happiness and continued defeat. And
today, no one is with excuse. God has made everything available to each and every one of us. The public library even has free
computers for those who do not own one, yet countless people still find the energy to allow evil to prevail in their journey.
Seek first the kingdom
of God. But if you are too busy wondering what is going on with the next
person and how God is moving in their life, you will miss the blessing God is sending in your direction. “…and that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and
to work with your hands, as we command you; that ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack
of nothing.”- I Thessalonians 4:11 &12, the Holy Bible, KJV,

The angels are wise and have the ability
to distract your attention and manipulate your way of thinking, because you are not foundered in your faith in God. And to
a non-believer, angel’s can destroy ones life. In fact, time-and-time again, humankind continues to witness the glory
of God in virtually every new creation of innovation. For we know that our God is forever giving each of us new ways of rebuilding
and expanding our horizons. So much, we are continuously gifted by intelligence well beyond our comprehension, because many
of us lack faith that God has given us each day to create those things which are everlasting. The gift is having faith that
God is, and that humankind is nothing without God.
To try and separate your soul from
that which gave you life- darkens your path, thus creates your trials. Experience has taught me that when I disconnect myself
from God, I must face trials only to bring me back into a full 360
degree angle with my Creator. Illus ional to a non-believer, but to me it’s
fact. A belief I wouldn’t change for anything in this world…not even ten million dollars! Therefore, I stress
to you the importance of maintaining your faith and holding on that which gives you strength to endure all things. God loves
you, as well as every mistake and every fault you possess. After all, God made you. It’s time you learn how to appreciate
who God made you to be. So today, make the first step in disconnecting your self from evil, and no longer give it the power
you have given it before over you to prevail in your life. Simply, just let it
go. Do not allow anything else negative rube you the wrong way. And I promise everything else will work itself out. After
all, God made you; therefore, God shall keep you.

Today, I am at a stand still in my endeavor to share this
vast amount of historical religious knowledge and information with you on spiritual warfare. Reason being, after spending
a few moments visiting my good friend, who happens to be a college Dean of Education, with a Doctorate in Philosophy; I was
taken aback by this tiny little book he asked me to read cover-to-cover. Curiously, I scurried home to feed hungrily on every
word. Mesmerized, I couldn’t help but sit back and evaluate the information. After all, I don’t want to discourage
anyone, but I too, was compelled in that very hour- to pass this knowledge on to you.
The tiny book titled Where
We Got the Bible…Our Debt to the Catholic Church, was written by The
Right Rev. Henry G. Graham, in 1911, is now in its twenty-eighth printing, which was last published in 1952. And seemingly,
such startling truth enveloped within this book sends chills down my spine; after all, this cannot be true. Nevertheless, according to Reverend Graham, “the Bible wasn’t printed until 1500 years after
the death of Christ.” 1 Astonished with such enlightenment, I cannot help but ponder
the New Testament and its different inclusions.
According to the Bible, Matthew wrote the book of Matthew,
and Mark wrote the book of Mark. Just like John wrote the book of John, and Paul wrote many other books such as Acts, Galatians,
and Ephesians. Yet reading this little book, I am baffled how anyone could have ever told or written anything concerning Jesus
Christ, after 1500 years of him being dead. There is no way possible that any human being lived 1500 years after Christ died.
Not even according to the scriptures. In fact, Enoch lived sixty and five years, and walked with God three hundred years,
but that’s still not 1500 years.
Furthermore
I discovered, “there was a class of books floating about before 397 A.D., which were never acknowledged as of any value
in the Church, nor treated as having Apostolic authority, seeing that they were obviously spurious and false, full of absurd
fables, superstitions, puerilities, and stories and miracles of Our Lord and His Apostles which made them a laughing-stock
to the world. Of these some survived, and we have them to-day, to let us see what stamp of writing they were; most have perished.
But we know the names of about 50 Gospels (such as the Gospel of James, the Gospel of Thomas, and the like), about 22 Acts
(like the Acts of Pilate, Acts of Paul and Thecla, and others), and a smaller number of Epistles and Apocalypses. These were
condemned and rejected wholesale as “Apocrypha’-that is, false, spurious, uncanonical.” 2
In addition, I read, “(1) the people had to be compelled
by law to buy Bibles, for Acts were passed again and again threatening the King’s displeasure and a fine of 40s. per
month if the Book was not purchased; (2) we have documentary evidence that inhabitants of certain parts of the country, such
as Cornwall and Devonshire, unanimously objected to the new translation, and that even among the clergy Reformers like Bishop
Hugh Latimer almost entirely ignored the English copy and always took their texts from the Latin Vulgate…”3
Now honestly speaking, I cannot fathom anyone using the
Bible as a tool to manipulate society into believing something to be true- when in fact it’s false. So this is why I’m
bringing this issue to your attention. Reality stings, especially when you don’t
want to accept the truth. It’s like growing up being told Santa Clause comes down the chimney and delivers toys to good
little boys and girls.

Only to find
out, such a brilliant child like fantasy was untrue. But this is the Bible. The book of wisdom passed down from generation
to generation, so how could such a book be considered false and full of errors; let alone, missing countless other books?
It’s obvious, what we have today is a replica of what was meant to be a Bible. And for any minister, preacher, Bishop
or Priest to brow-beat another human about what has been written in this book is ludicrous and absurd. Especially when you
read scriptures that read, “Therefore we conclude that
a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.” 4 Or, “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”

Forgive me, but I cannot help but want to scream! For more
than twenty years, I have read the scriptures and placed a great deal of stock in what it reads, especially since it has been
passed on as the authentic word of God. But after reading the history of the Bible and how often it has been torn apart by
one Church or another, and how it has been revised more than 2500 times, I get a headache. In fact, I am completely under
serious emotional duress from such mental anguish. Lord, help me to hold out! How could this be? Why would our college educated
keep such findings hidden away in a book? Reason is no one reads anything unless you tell them to.
So who is at fault, me for not reading the scriptures completely,
or the minister for not being honest? I guess the blame is on our ancestors. And since they have all up and died, leaving
us left to wonder how to carry on; the majority of us are still confined by the same ole’ mental restrictions such past
leaders and educators conformed us to. Luckily, today’s educators aren’t devilish and stricken with greed. In
fact, I am happy to have been blessed with a friend, who happens to be an educator and community leader, who not only wanted
to educate me but also empower me to learn more.
Therefore, I must do the same and pass this knowledge on
to you. In the future, before you begin your journey through historical religious doctrine, please make sure you invest time
and effort in finding out what else you can about biblical scriptures and how they came to be. And after you finish wrestling
with all of the madness, please send me an email and tell me all about it. Because only then will you have experienced the
level of confusion I did; that’s when you’ll discover what spiritual warfare is really all about.

Just the other day, I was talking with my youngest sister about the Bible.
While doing so, she reminded me of our younger years, when our mother and father made her and I learn every book of the Bible,
in their chronological order. I couldn’t help but laugh. Suddenly I was reminded of being put on punishment for not
writing a book report about what I had read. Today, such thoughts bring laughter and even pain.
Interestingly, the Bible has always been a very interesting conversation piece
for me. Unfortunately many other people believe it’s inappropriate to talk about the Bible, especially amongst friends
and or, during business meeting luncheons, because doing so only incites a riot. After all, living in a society that is so
diverse and complex, we are often bombarded with different perspectives and ideologies about religion and what each religion
offers; so much, talking about it creates nostalgia. Reason being, people do not want to be introduced to any other ideal
about religion that may very well change what they have established as truth in their own mind. In fact, most times, people
become so furious when others do not agree with their perspective on religion, they tend to allow the seed of anger to control
their thinking. In some instances, people have even been known to act out violently.
Take for instance, I mentioned Luke eighteen, verse eighteen and nineteen,
whereas a fellow approached Jesus by calling him Good Master, asking what he must do to inherit eternal life. Jesus replied,
“Why callest thou me good? None is good, save one, that is, God.”
And, Romans eight, verse seven and eight, which reads as followed, “Because the carnal mind
is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh
cannot please God.”
After pointing these two scriptures out, my sister said, “Well, why are
we taught to worship Jesus?” I could only respond by pointing out a few other scriptures, which in fact instruct: “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.” –Romans 3:28, KJV “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall
no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”-Romans
3:20, KJV and “And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not:
I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus
is the spirit of prophecy.”-Revelation 19:10, KJV
Her response was, “So we are justified by faith…right.” Truth
is studying the scriptures can open a lot of wounds. The stories enveloped within the Bible are historical insights from an
era long past. Although many people say the Bible is false and has no purpose in today’s world, I disagree. The Bible
is very much alive as it was centuries ago. The confusion comes from not knowing the scriptures. Experience has taught me
a valuable lesson about learning the scriptures; this is why I am enlightening you.
“Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err,
not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.”-Matthew 22: 29, KJV. In this scripture, you see for yourself,
Jesus too says the same. Surprisingly, the scriptures hold the very soul of the original writers: Matthew, Mark, Luke, John,
Peter, Jude and Paul. So much, when you begin to read the scriptures with a soul of belief, you begin to embody the spirit
of the writer. That’s how the word becomes flesh. “And the word was made flesh, and dwelt
among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”-St. John 1:14 KJV.
In fact, many people believe the scriptures are written to control mankind.
Yes, the scriptures have been used for many reasons throughout history, but they also possess a positive influence. If it weren’t for the scriptures, perhaps mankind will not have come to understand the importance
of gaining wisdom and its purpose in our lives. “Wisdom is the principle thing; therefore get
wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”-Proverbs 4:7, KJV
But everyone does not perceive the same message when they read the scriptures.
How this could be I don’t know, after all, this scripture tells us: “knowing this first
that no prophecy of the Scriptures is of any private interpretation.”- II Peter
1:20, KJV. Nevertheless, people always like to give their interpretation of the scriptures, when asked. Even if they really
haven’t invested enough time in reading the scriptures thoroughly enough to understand what the message really is trying
to teach.
Take this next scripture for instance, “But
the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them,
because they are spiritually discerned.” I Corinthians 2:14, KJV However, many times you often hear ministers
preaching that certain people are going to burn in hell. Yet this scripture says different, “But
the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on the wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is,
to bring Christ down from above:) or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
So are ministers really telling it like it is, or are they shuffling along,
in an effort to swindle people out of money? I mean, when you read scriptures that instruct, “O
the depth of the riches of both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his
judgments, and his ways past finding out!”- Romans 11:33, KJV. You have to wonder. Perhaps, this is why the next
scripture instructs: “Prove all things; hold fast that which
is good.”- Thessalonians 5: 21, KJV. “For God doth know that in the day ye thereof,
then your eyes shall be opened and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.”- Genesis 3:5, KJV.
Like many other collective writings written throughout history, today’s
society shouldn’t be so consumed by what others perceive as biblical facts, especially when it pertains to the scriptures.
After all, they have been revised 2400 times. Not to mention, there is a scheduled 600 more revisions already scheduled. Maybe
these revisions will bring drastic changes to a work that has endured much hammering already over time. After all, if you
believe in God you must also believe in the devil. And since history proves the devil is in full swing, then you know the
Bible will be its opening venue into the minds of millions.
That’s why this scripture tells us, “as
also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard
to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other Scriptures, unto their own destruction.”- II Peter 3: 16, KJV. “This
witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; not giving
heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.”- Titus 1:13 & 14, KJV. “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must
believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”- Hebrews 11:6, KJV
So to sum it up, when one assumes to know everything there is to know about
God and try to force feed their opinions upon another, they are in fact demonstrating their disbelief. Through every scripture
I just shared with you, you learned a valuable lesson. A lesson you shouldn’t be too quick to forget. After all, you
cannot live freely without faith.
“There are also celestial bodies and bodies terrestrial: but
the glory
Of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.”-
I Corinthians 15: 40 & 41, the Holy Bible, KJV
Learning how to decode the so-called “hidden secrets” many believe are discreetly enveloped
inside the sacred scriptures, can be extremely trying; especially for someone who lacks faith. For centuries, theologians
have feverishly yearned to decipher the mystical and prolific epistles. In fact, through-out the ages, there has been many
prophets declaring the coming-end of human existence, solely based on scriptural interpretation. Despite the continued revisions,
scholars and ministers alike, continue to convey significant reason why it’s important to trust whole heartedly in the
wisdom of the scriptures. But how can anyone find wisdom in a book that has been and continues to be tampered with?
Regardless of the amount of time and energy invested by each of its preparers, today, millions seemingly are disconnected
from ever attaining the magical power engulfed within the pages of the Holy Scripture, because they simply do not believe
in the wisdom it shares.
It doesn’t
take a brain surgeon to see why. With the continued down-size of corporate America
and our economy’s set back, most people are being swept away by thoughts of suicide and or, depression. So much,
it seems the rate of suicide victims has increased in the last two years. But
how do you reinforce the need for faith in a society that continues to be manipulative towards its citizens? Regardless
of what the scriptures teach, people still have a right to disbelieve in something they cannot see, touch, taste, or
feel. Just as much as people have a right to believe in whatever they desire; that’s why the Bill of Rights was signed
into action.
Luckily, experience
has taught me the importance of not only having faith but also, having a strong belief in something greater than myself.
Coincidentally,
in an newspaper article recently released by the Detroit Free Press, was this headline: “Are you
there, God? It’s me, Detroit”. Surprised, I
was taken aback by the authors jaded jab towards those who call on God in their time of despair. Not only has Detroit had
its fair share of negative publicity, but this articles title and content- takes the cake.
Like most people who
were raised on church vernacular, using Gods name, even in tuff times, is a way of living. Yet in this article, the writer seems
to be condemning it as being something ugly- at least- if you are a City Council member.
Apparently, the
writer feels as though, most people, particularly those who hold high rank, call on God when they get caught with their
pants down. And like many others, who too, call on God regularly, doing
so has become a way of existence, people just do it. Sadly enough, the writer's point was made clear…people
always talk about God is going to fix this or fix that, but change seems to never come for millions. In fact, this writer
feels, "you'd think God would deliver a believer from anything, even a case involving Federal crimes." Could he be
wrong in his assumption? God does still answer prayers, doesn’t He?
First,
the Bible clearly stresses: “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him
must worship him in spirit and in truth.”-John 4: 24, the Holy Bible, KJV.
Funny thing though,
this too, includes a gender identity. However, for many generations, people have taught their children to believe in God.
They had to or else. Nowadays, children do not have to believe in anything but XBOX games and Harry Potter. Unfortunately,
such luxuries didn’t exist in Pre-Historic Ages. The only luxury made available then, was perhaps getting a new shred
of animal skin to cover your personals.
Besides, what difference
does it make if someone calls on God when they are in a jam, during time out at a final season basketball game, and or during
a heated session of eroticism? Contrary to belief, if God doesn’t come,
an angel is sure to arrive. But such talk is silly to someone who doesn’t believe. No matter how often information is
shared with some people, they will never get it, which simply means: it just wasn’t meant for them to get. That's
why Jesus often spoke in parables.
Fact is people have
always called on God in the mist of trouble, that’s what we were taught to do. Even the scripture teaches- God will
see us through- rain or shine. Our ancestors believed the same thing, that’s what helped them through their experience
of slavery. So why is it an issue now? Virtually everyone has called on God at one point or another. Perhaps, the real
issue is not in knowing that people call on God, its wondering if God will actually reply or show-up, that makes
people question such dependability.
Contrary to belief,
the Spirit of God does move around us... in way’s unexplainable. So much, you see it every-day. Yet, ignorantly,
some people believe the earth derived from the big-bang-theory. Miraculously, scientists believe the earth formed from pebbles
of fallen meteorites, only to be joined together and BAM... earth was.
Such a silly thing to
think to a believer, but we are entitled to believe what we wish...right? That is the beauty of reading the scriptures.
Magically, those who do read and know the word have discovered a world outside of this one, and a great safe haven that world
can be. Its there in that world that helps make the day-to-day way of being- even more exciting and adventurous. Besides,
the good book promises: better days to those who believe. After all, the good book didn’t become the
greatest story ever told for nothing, and to date, there has not been another to match its ratings…not one.
Therefore, its purpose
is shown time and again, it’s up to the individual to come into its realm of power- voluntarily. “How can ye believe,
which receive honor one of another, and seek not the honor that cometh from God only?”- John 5:44, the Holy Bible, KJV
“But if ye believe
not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?”- John 5:47, the Holy Bible, KJV
Having a belief in
the scriptures and or, God- is just that, a belief. No matter what anyone thinks, belief in God gives everyone who believes-
the power to do great things. From rap moguls to country music stars, whenever you see an award show, the first person most
people thank- is God. Whenever a child is born- people thank- God. That’s what we are taught to do. Unfortunately, it’s
those who do not believe who seem to be the cause for many problems in soceity. The scripture tells us: “Therefore
speak I to them in parables, because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.”-Matthew
13:13, the Holy Bible, KJV
“that the God
of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of
the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according
to the working of his mighty power.”-Ephesians 1:17-19, the Holy Bible, KJV.
Therefore, when secular
society, non-believers infringe upon those who believe in God and oppose to such belief- without just cause- they are demonstrating
they work for the wicked one. And it is the wicked one which the word teaches believers to flee from…for time and
again, proof has shown, the darkness seeks to conquer the land. The evidence of darkness continues to fill grave
yards and pack emergency rooms everyday. But this gift of sight is only given to those who believe.
So to all you believer's
out there, I beg you- keep picking up your Bible and continue searching for the grace hidden in every word. It is
there, that you will find the key to God’s most precious secrets; concealed safely, locked away from those who just
don’t get it. Do not allow continued scriptural revisions to discourage your faith and belief in GOD. God is Almighty...man
is not. Therefore, "Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power
to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor, this is the gift of God."-
Ecclesiastes 5: 19, the Holy Bible, KJV
Is the Bible Still God’s Word?
Recently, my
oldest sister and I had a brief discussion about I Corinthians 6:9- in the Holy Bible. This particular scripture drew my attention
while conducting religious research. The scripture reads: “Do you not know that the unjust will
not inherit the kingdom of God?
Do not be deceived; neither fornicators nor idolaters nor adulterers nor boy prostitutes nor sodomites.”
Given the history surrounding religion and homosexuality, the most common interpretation of the term “sodomite”
equates to those who indulge in homosexuality. Although many religious believers
feel such behavior is sinful and against the will of God. Many others disagree. But who knows the truth, and how do we find
it?
Most of what is known
about religion derives from word-of-mouth, generational teaching, and beliefs. Regardless of the amount of truth surrounding
what is known about religion, many believers base their faith on religious dogma. Contrary
to the twenty-four-hundred times the Bible has been revised, the Bible is the word of God- in the eyes of more than five
million people. Despite what present day scholars are unveiling surrounding biblical errors; people still value their opinions
like gold when dealing with scripture.
But this one particular
scripture (I Corinthians 6:9) caught my attention so much, it evoked me to begin conducting research on its various translations
conducted throughout the years. Interestingly, while doing the research, I discovered something that should be brought to
public attention. That’s why I asked my sister for her opinion. Her response was and still is…”What the
*^#k!”
After examining this
scripture published by Thomas Nelson Publishing, who by the way, has been publishing Bibles for more than sixty
years; I was taken aback by their interpretation. Perhaps, you too, will be just as dismayed.
In Oct. and Nov.
of 2008, Thomas Nelson Publishing released two different Bibles- the Chronological Study Bible and The Voice New Testament.
Ironically, when I searched each book, the scripture in question-[I Corinthians 6:9] read differently from book-to-book. The
first scripture taken from the Voice New Testament read as followed: “Do you need reminding that
the unjust have no share in the blessings of the kingdom of
God? Do not be misled. A lot of people stand to inherit nothing of God’s
coming kingdom, including those whose lives are defined by sexual immorality, idolatry, adultery, sexual
deviancy, theft, greed, drunkenness, slander, and swindling.”
But the Chronological Study Bible reads like this: “Do you not know that the unrighteous
will not inherit the kingdom of God?
Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites.”
Fortunately,
my research didn’t end with just this scripture. In fact, I found a few scriptures that contradict what this publisher
has written. In Romans ten, verse six and seven it reads: “But the righteousness which is of faith
speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring
Christ down from above:) or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)”
And in,
Romans eight, verse seven and eight it reads: “Because the carnal mind
is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh
cannot please God.”
Surely, after reading
these two scriptures, even a die-hard Bible thumper would agree, something isn’t right. Considering how long Thomas
Nelson Publishing has been in the business of publishing and selling Bible’s, it would seem, this publishing company
would have a greater understanding on the material they are printing, especially material that not only is considered a divine
work of historical literature, but a work accredited as the Word of God. So why would this publisher release two books in
the same year that read entirely different, and yet, still possess scripture defying what they have printed?
Considering this company
prides itself on inspiring the world through the Word-of-God, I thought it necessary to research Bibles previously released
by this company. Doing so, I found two other Bible’s published in 1982, which also read as followed: “Do
you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom
of God? Do not be deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers,
nor homosexuals.” And the other, a Holy Bible 1611 Edition, republished in the same year, reads: “Know
ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom
of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers,
nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind.” *Notice, the term homosexual was not included in this
scripture.
First of all, the canonical Christian Bible was formally established by Bishop Cyril of Jerusalem in 350
(although it had been generally accepted by the church previously), confirmed by the Council of Laodicea in 363(both lacking
Revelation), and later established by Athanasius of Alexandrai in 367(with Revelation added), then Jerome’s Vulgate Latin translation which dates back to between AD 382 and 420. It is noted that Jerome began his revisions
using the earlier Latin translations, but later decided to go back to the original Greek, by passing all other translations,
and going back to the original Hebrew whenever he could, instead of using the Septuagint. Then later, the New Testament was
translated into Gothic in the 4th Century by Ulfilas.
Then, Pope Innocent
III banned unauthorized versions of the Bible in 1199, as a reaction to the Cathar and Waldensian heresies. During that time,
there was great evidence uprooting surrounding some of the vernacular being used, causing Bibles to be scrutinized. Even the
most notable Middle English Bible translation, found in the Wycliffe’s Bible, printed 1383, was based on the Vulgate,
and was banned by the Oxford Synod in 1408.
Interestingly, Martin Luther translated the New Testament from Greek into German, and that version was printed
in September 1522.
Following that release,
the infamous William Tyndale Bible, which was printed in 1526, was met with heavy sanctions given the widespread belief that
Tyndale changed the Bible as he attempted to translate it. In fact, William Tyndale was first jailed in 1535 for translating
the Old Testament without permission, and a year later, was strangled and burnt at the stake.
Surprisingly, since
2005, at least one book of the Bible has been translated into 2,400 of the 6,900 languages listed by SIL, including 680 languages
in Africa, followed by 590 in Asia. Today, the United Bible Societies are presently assisting
in over 600 Bible translation projects. Even more surprising, Thomas Nelson began selling its first translation in 1798, in
Edinburgh, Scotland, yet continues to debate whether their translation on the issue of homosexuality is accurate or not. In
the meantime, those who are homosexual are being targeted world-wide as being digusting sinful people, who do not deserve
the same rights as heterosexuals. And unfortunately, in some countries, homosexuals are even being put to death
based on this biblical foul-up.
So how do you educate
a society on biblical truth with book that is constantly being contaminated with words of ignorance, by the
very people who control the mass distribution of religious doctrine?
In fact, this
scripture reads: “as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these
things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also
the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.”- 2 Peter 3:16 the Holy Bible KJV.
Luckily, God’s
inspirational wisdom is a sign of empowerment for all mankind to embrace. Perhaps
this is why the scripture found in James three, verse seventeen tells us: “But the wisdom that is
from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality,
and without hypocrisy.”
As it is written, today,
the scriptures are completely enveloped with hypocrisy. So much, it’s no wonder there are so many people turning away
from the church and religious order. Alarmingly, it’s obvious; those who have the resources to print Bible’s-
have taken it upon themselves to write the scriptures as they see fit- regardless of who is offended. No longer is the truth
a prerequisite, its all about sales and monetary gain.
“For
every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: for it is sanctified by the
word of God and prayer.”- I Timothy 4: 4 &5 the Holy Bible, KJV
Despite these
twisted scriptures mistranslated by Thomas Nelson Publishing, there are people who will always believe homosexuals will not
inherit the kingdom of God.
Regardless if this scripture reads: “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly,
that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils…”-I
Timothy 4:1 the Holy Bible, KJV- millions of religious followers will never embrace same-sex loving people. No matter if their love towards one another is just as compassionate and sincere as their heterosexual counterparts.
Let’s face
it, the devil will always have its reign and power over those who willingly take part in his ventures.
Fortunately, God has
given man the will of choice. "I will", the actor speaks in the new Harry Potter movie. The grace provided through
this gift, transcends all craftiness conjured up by spiritually discerned persons’; especially those, who publish Bible’s,
yet refuse to read and or, study the context before making unnecessary changes.
In the meantime, I thank God for my eye’s to read and my brain to comprehend. If I couldn’t do such, perhaps no
one would ever know these religious truths; at least, not my sister and me, and definitely not you. Praise God, from whom
all blessing continue to flow.
Is There Any Connection with Harry Potter and the Movie 2012?
Writer J.K. Rowlings
has done it again. The mysterious wizardry of Dumbledorf and Harry Potter, once again sends chills of excitement through the
veins of millions, who long anticipated this release.
ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!
This dynamic work of art, depicts dark age wisdom, only the esoteric mind can conceive. Much like many other Harry Potter
films, the battle between light and darkness saturates the screen;still giving its viewers a closer look into the ancient
study of biblical wisdom.
Ironically,
black magic and scorcery were common practices in the Old Testament era. So much, people of those times dependent solely on
such wisdom to provide cures for many illnesses. In fact, our modern-day medical treatments are a result of such craft. Unlike
the movies, there are many religions that still incorporate magic as way of connecting to a higher power. Unfortunately, in
many parts of the world, black magic was out -lawed. Surprisingly, there are laws imposed to prevent people from
using such intelligence, even the scriptures forbid such practices.
But with movies like
2012-which is being previewed today, depicting end-time destruction in such horrifying manner; destruction on that level
seems connected to the Darklord himself. In fact, evil has always been worshipped by millions, just as much as people worship
God. It seems the great battle between God and Satan is very much a reality our world will experience in the
coming movie- 2012. Only those who have been counted will be saved from such destruction. But how do you know
if you are counted?
So many people talk
about the mark of the beast found in the book of Revelation. Its believed, only those who have such a mark
will be able to purchase, eat, or sale merchandise. Could it be possible, the mark has already been handed out to millions
and they don't even know it? Looking at the current ecomony, millions are losing their jobs, while millions more are not.
But those who are not losing their jobs, in some instances, do not care or have a geniune concern about those
who have lost their jobs. Are these the people with such a mark?
According to
the U.S. Census Bureau, everyone living in the United States was born with a social security number. That number follows you
for life; therefore, you already have the mark of the beast. However, according to the Old Testament, the mark God sent
his angels to mark his chosen people with is a blessed marking.
"Behold,
I send my angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him,
and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions; for my name is in him. But if thou shalt
indeed obey his voice, and do all that he speaks; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemy, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
For mine angels shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Per'izzites, and the
Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jeb'usites; and I will cast them off."- Exodus 23:20-31, the Holy Bible, KJV
"And
the Lord said, My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he is also flesh: yet his days shall be a hundred and
twenty years."- Genesis 6:3, the Holy Bible, KJV
"And

Trying to decipher
truth from falsehood is not easy. But when you see movie after movie depicting the same message, then perhaps there really
is a message being offered. Its how each one of us perceives such messages that makes the mystery a reality. Coincidentally,
while your watching the new Harry Potter movie listen to the message. In fact, when Dumbledorf makes the ocean
seperate much like Moses parted the Read Sea; in doing so, his wizardry was given the power to excede abundantly, even
unto his dying breathe.
Its ancient wisdom
and the full body of faith that gives such characters personality. Perhaps, the movie "9" will be just as interesting; after
all, we are aliens on a mission to educate the earth about God and his greatness. May the force be with you, and may your
faith always be with God.
